Fabien Esculier is a graduate of the \u00c9cole Polytechnique (X 2003) and a Civil Servant Engineer (IPEF 2008). Between 2009 and 2013, he was head of the Seine Water Police Department at the Seine Navigation Service and then at the Regional and Interdepartmental Directorate for the Environment and Energy (DRIEE-IDF). He then set up the OCAPI research & action program and in 2018 defended his thesis<\/a> entitled “The nutrition\/excretion system of urban territories: regimes and socioecological transitions”, directed by Josette Garnier and Bruno Tassin. Holder of the silver medal of the French Academy of Agriculture, he is also a winner of the thesis prizes awarded by \u00c9cole nationale des ponts et chauss\u00e9es and the Fondation des Ponts. He also won the public prize in the “Ma th\u00e8se en 180 secondes<\/a>” competition at the local finals of the University Paris-Est.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2018, he was assigned as a researcher to the Laboratory of Water, Environment and Urban Systems<\/a> (LEESU) and has since coordinated the multidisciplinary research action of the OCAPI program on nutrition\/excretion systems and source separation of human urine and feces. The OCAPI program is very much oriented towards communication, awareness, training and the appropriation of the subject by societal actors. The dynamic OCAPI<\/a> program has led, among other things, to the creation of an entertaining show<\/a> on the circulation of nutrients in our society, designed to popularize the subject and engage the public. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
