A graduate of the \u00c9cole polytechnique f\u00e9d\u00e9rale de Lausanne and holding a PhD in environmental science, Myriam Saad\u00e9 was a researcher at the laboratoire Navier and academic head of the d\u00e9partement G\u00e9nie civil et construction at the \u00c9cole nationale des ponts et chauss\u00e9es. Her work focuses on life cycle assessment applied to infrastructure\u2014particularly in geotechnical engineering\u2014as well as the management of natural and secondary resources. She has been a research associate at the Institut fran\u00e7ais du Proche-Orient (IFPO), and later at the Institut de hautes \u00e9tudes internationales et du d\u00e9veloppement in Geneva. She has also worked as a consultant for the Aga Khan Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is currently the director of the Unit\u00e9 d\u2019Appui et de Recherche (UAR) UTOPII (Unit\u00e9 Transdisciplinaire d\u2019Orientation et de Prospective des Impacts Environnementaux de la Recherche en Ing\u00e9nierie) at the CNRS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
